We're back...
Posted Sunday August 06, 2006.
Welcome to the new project homepage for the OpenInput
project!
First of all we apologise that the project, and especially the
homepage, have been down for almost a year. The old homepage got
defaced, and the dotsrc.org crew took the page offline (thanks). I
should have updated the Mambo homepage system, but because of a new
job and other real-life happenings, I never managed to find the
time. After a few months, the dotsrc-folks revoked my access
(understandably), and nothing happned for a long time. Until
now. We're back!
The homepage is now up and running on the
gna.org free software hosting site.
Almost all the information that was on the old homepage has been
transferred or rewritten, and the API documentation etc. is also
present on the new page. One thing that you might find is missing is
the forums -- Gna does not provide PHP or mySql, so running the forums
on this page is very tricky. Furthermore, we don't really like
spending lots of time on maintaining such systems so we have decided to
fallback on the old Unix-way of supporting users: Mailinglists. Click
here to find out how to subscribe or view
the archives.
Cheers,
Jakob
