How to Report Bugs in Py-notify

Reporting Bugs

Please use Gna! bug tracker for submitting bugs. Alternatively, you can send a mail to py-notify-dev@gna.org

Before submitting, please check if your bug has already been reported to the bug-tracker. If not, please upgrade to the latest available version of Py-notify and verify if the bug is still present. Also check the Subversion repository if possible.

Please include the following information in your bug report:

• Bug description and the way to reproduce the bug.

• Exception stack trace, if any.

• System information, most importantly Python version.

• Test case if possible. If a standard test fails (one of those in the ‘test’ directory), its name in stack trace will suffice.

• If you are not registered at Gna!, then leave your e-mail address so that I can ask for additional information if needed.

Any other bit of information may be helpful, so please do provide more if you can.
