How to Report Bugs in Quarry |
Reporting Bugs
Please use Gna! bug tracker for submitting bugs. Alternatively, you can send a message to quarry-dev@gna.org.
Before submitting, please check if your bug has already been reported to the bug-tracker. If not, please upgrade to the latest available version of Quarry and verify if the bug is still present. If you can, also check the SVN version.
Please include the following information in your bug report:
Bug description and the way to reproduce the bug.

Output of Quarry in the terminal, if any. It would typically die with a message like this:
quarry: file-name.c:123: some_function_name: Assertion `...' failed.
System information, including version of GTK+ and librsvg.
If you fail to configure or build Quarry in the first place, please send in several last lines of ‘configure’s and/or ‘make’s output, depending on where the problem occurred.
Your e-mail address so that I can ask for additional information when needed. If you don’t want to disclose your address, register a user account at Gna! and submit bug when logged in. Followup comments will then be forwarded to you automatically.
Any other bit of information may be helpful, so please do provide more if you can.
Wishes
If you have a wish for certain feature, don’t hesitate to submit it to the bug tracker. Of course, for wishes there is no need to provide all the information listed above. Instead, please have a look at our to-do list (list of things planned to be implemented before releasing Quarry 0.2) to find if your wish is already there.
