Chances are it's your video drivers at fault, those controls don't work here on my NVidia GeForce Go 6800, but they do work on my other computer running a Radeon 9600. To see if these options are supported for you, check the output of 'xvinfo' for 'XV_brIGHTNESS'.
What train? I got rid of that before the 0.2.0 release. Well, here's the answer anyway: I figured that I needed a picture there of some sort, so I just picked a train that I drew a few months ago (I just love trains aswell). Of course, this picture is not intended to be permanent, so if you can top it (I'm sure you probably can) contact me somehow. (Preferably something more relevent to a media player).
OK, you got me there, I did make up some of these questions (in fact, I even made up this one). Though the brightness controls one is valid, seeing as I've been asked about one question, and that was the one, and I coun't a question that makes up 100% of all questions asked as being frequent.
